“It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.”
That quote is the sample text that came with the blog while I was building the website. I am currently still building it. I find myself getting lost, but not as much as when as I first started.
I had an idea. I had a hobby. I had a creative project to share with the world. I decided I wanted I wanted to completely derail the idea of the life I was going to have.
I have a mechanical engineering degree. It’s still in the tube that it was mailed in. I loved college- the classes, the structure, the routine, even my jobs (tutor and bus driver). I loved my engineering job - the work, the structure, the routine… But there’s something I have now that I didn’t have then.
The passion.
I was great at math. I was great at design. Incredibly proficient with AutoCAD and Inventor (design software). And yet, after covid, I didn’t find myself at another engineering job.
I decided to make a complete career change. I decided to become a certified personal trainer. After that, I decided I wanted to learn more about what most women struggle with and I became a certified nutritionist. And now, I’ve decided I want to put everything I can into this, become a certified life coach, and launch my own business. My dream is to grow and hire other women and have the ability to help women in whatever stage of life they’re in.
I am passionate about exercise. I am passionate about health. I am passionate about teaching and helping. I am passionate about advocating for women.
So here I am, on November 12, 2024 at 8:46 PM while my husband is working and my son is sleeping, typing my future first blog post and wondering how I’m supposed to edit the date. It is not June 2019.
I have 3 practice-client sessions, 1 capstone project, and 1 final exam left before becoming a certified life coach. For the website, I just have to add images for the shirts and stickers.
